# Daily Goal Tracker vs Dotnote

The clearest difference is monetization model: Daily Goal Tracker at freemium against Dotnote's subscription. Daily Goal Tracker also leads on ratings volume (4 vs 1). Dotnote's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Goal Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Dotnote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Goal Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Dotnote every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
