# Homei vs Security Camera Home App

The clearest difference is rating: Security Camera Home App at 4.6 against Homei's 1.5. Security Camera Home App also leads on ratings volume (738 vs 15). Homei's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security Camera Home App sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Homei asks for nothing beyond the download.

Security Camera Home App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Camera Home App has 738 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Homei's written reviews are positive against 17% of Security Camera Home App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
