# Zestr vs LinkStart

The clearest difference is rating: LinkStart at 3.7 against Zestr's 2.4. LinkStart also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Zestr's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (24 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zestr sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $9.90 per 7 days and LinkStart sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LinkStart holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zestr has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zestr ships an update every 10 days, LinkStart every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
