# Zestr vs SwapX Studio

The clearest difference is rating: SwapX Studio at 4.2 against Zestr's 2.6. SwapX Studio also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). Zestr's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (28 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zestr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and SwapX Studio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SwapX Studio holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zestr has 28 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zestr ships an update every 10 days, SwapX Studio every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
