# BeeJoy vs Player Xtreme

BeeJoy and Player Xtreme both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 84% of BeeJoy's written reviews are positive against 41% of Player Xtreme's. BeeJoy also leads on device support (6 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Player Xtreme's advantage is ratings volume (108 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeeJoy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Player Xtreme sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Player Xtreme holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Player Xtreme has 108 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of BeeJoy's written reviews are positive against 41% of Player Xtreme's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeeJoy ships an update every 9 days, Player Xtreme weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
