# POOLS™ vs Rata Kong

The clearest difference is rating: Rata Kong at 5.0 against POOLS™'s 4.5. POOLS™'s advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. POOLS™ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Rata Kong sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rata Kong holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POOLS™ has 1.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

POOLS™ ships an update monthly, Rata Kong every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
