# IPTV Player vs iMPlayer IPTV Player

The clearest difference is rating: iMPlayer IPTV Player at 4.8 against IPTV Player's 3.7. iMPlayer IPTV Player also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 3). IPTV Player's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and iMPlayer IPTV Player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iMPlayer IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iMPlayer IPTV Player has 2.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of IPTV Player's written reviews are positive against 61% of iMPlayer IPTV Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPTV Player ships an update every 2 weeks, iMPlayer IPTV Player every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
