# FFMI vs Gongful

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gongful at every 2 weeks against FFMI's every 3 months. Gongful also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FFMI sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year and Gongful sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FFMI ships an update every 3 months, Gongful every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
