# DataMed vs Rivoce

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rivoce at every 2 days against DataMed's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataMed sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Rivoce sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DataMed ships an update every 3 weeks, Rivoce every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
