# Mindless Labs vs Rainfall

The clearest difference is monetization model: Mindless Labs at free against Rainfall's free with in-app purchases. Mindless Labs also leads on ratings volume (32 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindless Labs sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $65.00 per year and Rainfall sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Mindless Labs against 5.0 for Rainfall. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindless Labs has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
