# Scribble for Kids vs Math Learner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scribble for Kids at 67% against Math Learner's 23%. Scribble for Kids also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). Math Learner's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 39 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Learner sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Scribble for Kids asks for nothing beyond the download.

Math Learner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Learner has 121K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Scribble for Kids's written reviews are positive against 23% of Math Learner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scribble for Kids ships an update every 39 months, Math Learner every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
