# ESS Mobile vs MRT Mobile Solutions

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ESS Mobile at 343 against MRT Mobile Solutions's 10. MRT Mobile Solutions's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and rating (1.9 vs 1.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MRT Mobile Solutions holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ESS Mobile has 343 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of ESS Mobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of MRT Mobile Solutions's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ESS Mobile ships an update every 3 months, MRT Mobile Solutions monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
