# PacePilot vs Epivity

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Epivity at none against PacePilot's 6. Epivity also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). PacePilot's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PacePilot sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Epivity asks for nothing beyond the download.

PacePilot ships an update every 4 days, Epivity every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
