# ArtArray vs HeroShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: HeroShot at every 2 days against ArtArray's every 11 days. ArtArray's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArtArray sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and HeroShot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ArtArray against 5.0 for HeroShot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ArtArray has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ArtArray ships an update every 11 days, HeroShot every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
