# Legacy MVP vs SkillPath

The clearest difference is ads: Legacy MVP at none against SkillPath's shown. Legacy MVP also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). SkillPath's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Legacy MVP sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SkillPath sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Legacy MVP ships an update every 10 months, SkillPath every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
