# Timer vs Fake Timer

The clearest difference is ads: Fake Timer at none against Timer's shown. Fake Timer also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 13 months). Timer's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Fake Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
