# EnneaApp vs Shadow Work

The clearest difference is rating: Shadow Work at 4.7 against EnneaApp's 4.4. Shadow Work also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). EnneaApp's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 59%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EnneaApp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shadow Work sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shadow Work holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 959 and 342 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of EnneaApp's written reviews are positive against 59% of Shadow Work's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EnneaApp ships an update every 2 months, Shadow Work every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
