# Danville Connect vs Republic Services

The clearest difference is rating: Republic Services at 4.2 against Danville Connect's 3.0. Republic Services also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 4). Danville Connect's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 10%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Republic Services holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Republic Services has 3.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Danville Connect's written reviews are positive against 10% of Republic Services's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Danville Connect ships an update every 11 months, Republic Services every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
