# Play Drums! vs BEET

The clearest difference is rating: BEET at 4.6 against Play Drums!'s 3.7. BEET also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Play Drums! sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and BEET sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BEET holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BEET has 167 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Play Drums! ships an update every 4 months, BEET every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
