# Magnet Calculator vs mod.Timer

The clearest difference is ads: mod.Timer at none against Magnet Calculator's shown. mod.Timer also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Magnet Calculator's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.5). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnet Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and mod.Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnet Calculator ships an update every 4 months, mod.Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
