# Fluently vs PermitGo

Fluently and PermitGo both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PermitGo's written reviews are positive against 65% of Fluently's. PermitGo also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Fluently's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluently sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PermitGo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PermitGo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fluently has 6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Fluently's written reviews are positive against 100% of PermitGo's.

Fluently ships an update every 5 days, PermitGo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
