# NextFly vs Flight Tracker ++

The clearest difference is monetization model: NextFly at free with in-app purchases against Flight Tracker ++'s subscription. NextFly also leads on ratings volume (399 vs 4) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Flight Tracker ++'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextFly sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days and Flight Tracker ++ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextFly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextFly has 399 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NextFly ships an update every 3 weeks, Flight Tracker ++ every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
