# Thermometer vs Body Temperature Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Thermometer at 4.6 against Body Temperature Tracker's 2.3. Thermometer also leads on ratings volume (408 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thermometer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Body Temperature Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thermometer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermometer has 408 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thermometer ships an update fortnightly, Body Temperature Tracker every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
