# Notes for iPhone vs StayOn

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StayOn at 80% against Notes for iPhone's 34%. StayOn also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Notes for iPhone's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (71 vs 5). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes for iPhone sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. StayOn asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notes for iPhone holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes for iPhone has 71 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Notes for iPhone's written reviews are positive against 80% of StayOn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
