# Notes for iPhone vs Flash Checklist

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flash Checklist at none against Notes for iPhone's 3. Flash Checklist also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 34%). Notes for iPhone's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 24 months) and rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes for iPhone sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Flash Checklist asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notes for iPhone holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes for iPhone has 71 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Notes for iPhone's written reviews are positive against 50% of Flash Checklist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notes for iPhone ships an update every 10 days, Flash Checklist every 24 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
