# Innovative Language Learning vs Bloom

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bloom at none against Innovative Language Learning's 13. Bloom also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). Innovative Language Learning's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (34K vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Innovative Language Learning sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Bloom asks for nothing beyond the download.

Innovative Language Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Innovative Language Learning has 34K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Innovative Language Learning's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bloom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Innovative Language Learning ships an update every 2 months, Bloom every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
