# 美加头条HD vs 豆瓣

The clearest difference is ratings volume: 豆瓣 at 22K against 美加头条HD's 546. 豆瓣 also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). 美加头条HD's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 美加头条HD sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and 豆瓣 sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

豆瓣 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 豆瓣 has 22K ratings behind it against 546, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of 美加头条HD's written reviews are positive against 22% of 豆瓣's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

美加头条HD ships an update monthly, 豆瓣 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
