# Wi vs DD

The clearest difference is rating: DD at 4.2 against Wi's 2.5. DD also leads on ratings volume (324 vs 12). Wi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DD sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 3 months. Wi asks for nothing beyond the download.

DD holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DD has 324 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 44% of DD's.

Wi ships an update every 3 weeks, DD monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
