# Daystar vs Go Victory

The clearest difference is ads: Daystar at none against Go Victory's shown. Daystar also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (93% vs 82%). Go Victory's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (6.6K vs 613). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Go Victory holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Victory has 6.6K ratings behind it against 613, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Daystar's written reviews are positive against 82% of Go Victory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daystar ships an update every 3 weeks, Go Victory every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
