# Daystar vs Bible TV

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Daystar at 613 against Bible TV's 2. Daystar also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Bible TV's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bible TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daystar has 613 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Daystar ships an update every 3 weeks, Bible TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
