# RandomIdea vs Ember

The clearest difference is ads: Ember at none against RandomIdea's shown. Ember also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 18 months). RandomIdea's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RandomIdea sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ember sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
