# Fortis+ vs NXR+

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fortis+ at none against NXR+'s 4. Fortis+ also leads on ratings volume (58 vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). NXR+'s advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NXR+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Fortis+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fortis+ against 5.0 for NXR+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fortis+ has 58 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Fortis+ ships an update every 4 months, NXR+ every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
