# Saving Magic vs Mage Universe

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Saving Magic at 100% against Mage Universe's 50%. Saving Magic also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Mage Universe's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mage Universe holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Saving Magic's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mage Universe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
