# APDL vs E

The clearest difference is rating: APDL at 4.4 against E's 3.3. APDL also leads on ratings volume (984 vs 4). E's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (67% vs 37%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APDL sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. E asks for nothing beyond the download.

APDL holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: APDL has 984 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of APDL's written reviews are positive against 67% of E's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
