# APDL vs E145 Virtual Panel

The clearest difference is price: APDL at Free against E145 Virtual Panel's $14.99. APDL also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 39 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). E145 Virtual Panel's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (50% vs 37%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

APDL is free to download; E145 Virtual Panel costs $14.99 up front. APDL sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. E145 Virtual Panel asks for nothing beyond the download.

APDL holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: APDL has 983 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of APDL's written reviews are positive against 50% of E145 Virtual Panel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
