# Folded Notes vs SimpleLists

The clearest difference is ads: Folded Notes at none against SimpleLists's shown. Folded Notes also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 6 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folded Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SimpleLists sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folded Notes ships an update daily, SimpleLists every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
