# Chunks Microlearning vs Lore

Chunks Microlearning and Lore both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Chunks Microlearning's written reviews are positive against 18% of Lore's. Chunks Microlearning also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Lore's advantage is ratings volume (308 vs 36) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chunks Microlearning sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lore sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Chunks Microlearning against 4.7 for Lore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lore has 308 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Chunks Microlearning's written reviews are positive against 18% of Lore's.

Chunks Microlearning ships an update every 11 days, Lore every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
