# Chunks Microlearning vs Tidbit

The clearest difference is rating: Tidbit at 5.0 against Chunks Microlearning's 4.7. Tidbit also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Chunks Microlearning's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chunks Microlearning sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Tidbit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tidbit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chunks Microlearning has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Chunks Microlearning ships an update every 11 days, Tidbit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
