# iMPlayer IPTV Player vs iPTV Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iPTV Pro at 82% against iMPlayer IPTV Player's 61%. iPTV Pro also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). iMPlayer IPTV Player's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 91). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iMPlayer IPTV Player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year and iPTV Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iMPlayer IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iMPlayer IPTV Player has 2.6K ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of iMPlayer IPTV Player's written reviews are positive against 82% of iPTV Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iMPlayer IPTV Player ships an update every 3 weeks, iPTV Pro weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
