# Shelto vs Passly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shelto at fortnightly against Passly's every 2 months. Shelto also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shelto sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Passly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shelto ships an update fortnightly, Passly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
