# Omera vs Synq

The clearest difference is ads: Omera at none against Synq's shown. Omera also leads on ratings volume (29 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.4 vs 17.0). Synq's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Omera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Synq sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Synq holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Omera has 29 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of Omera's written reviews are positive against 100% of Synq's.

Omera ships an update every 2 weeks, Synq every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
