# Hot Player vs CAF Events

The clearest difference is rating: CAF Events at 5.0 against Hot Player's 3.9. CAF Events also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Hot Player's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1) and device support (5 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hot Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. CAF Events asks for nothing beyond the download.
