# Nota Ringtones vs RingForge

The clearest difference is rating: Nota Ringtones at 4.4 against RingForge's 3.6. Nota Ringtones also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 21) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). RingForge's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 28%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nota Ringtones sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and RingForge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nota Ringtones holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nota Ringtones has 1.5K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Nota Ringtones's written reviews are positive against 43% of RingForge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
