# Speed9 vs Duel

The clearest difference is ads: Speed9 at none against Duel's shown. Speed9 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Duel's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed9 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Duel sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed9 ships an update every 4 months, Duel every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
