# PixelArt Saga vs Lucky Rollers

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PixelArt Saga at 75% against Lucky Rollers's 14%. PixelArt Saga also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.5) and ratings volume (303 vs 11). Lucky Rollers's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelArt Saga sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Lucky Rollers sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PixelArt Saga holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PixelArt Saga has 303 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of PixelArt Saga's written reviews are positive against 14% of Lucky Rollers's.

PixelArt Saga ships an update every 2 months, Lucky Rollers fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
