# LinFlash vs Smart Lecture

The clearest difference is ads: LinFlash at none against Smart Lecture's shown. Smart Lecture's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinFlash sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Smart Lecture sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LinFlash ships an update every 5 weeks, Smart Lecture every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
