# ISM vs BenchScope

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ISM at none against BenchScope's 1. ISM also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). BenchScope's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 7 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BenchScope sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ISM asks for nothing beyond the download.

ISM ships an update every 7 months, BenchScope every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
