# Universal AC Remote Control + vs Air Conditioner Control App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Air Conditioner Control App at free with in-app purchases against Universal AC Remote Control +'s subscription. Universal AC Remote Control +'s advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 53) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Universal AC Remote Control + sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Air Conditioner Control App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
