# NoteGen vs AI Voice Notes

The clearest difference is rating: NoteGen at 4.7 against AI Voice Notes's 4.3. NoteGen also leads on ratings volume (475 vs 4). AI Voice Notes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteGen sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and AI Voice Notes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteGen holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteGen has 475 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of NoteGen's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Voice Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NoteGen ships an update weekly, AI Voice Notes every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
