# NoteGen vs Start

The clearest difference is ads: Start at none against NoteGen's shown. NoteGen's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteGen sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Start sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
